Direct Energy’s parent, Centrica plc, named a top Foreign-Owned Corporate Citizen in Canada

Toronto, ON (6/22/2009) - Direct Energy’s parent, Centrica plc, has been recognized as a Top Foreign-Owned Corporate Citizen in Canada as a part of Corporate Knights 8th Annual Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada, considered by many as the definitive annual list of Canada’s top corporate citizens.

This year, Corporate Knights examined foreign-owned companies with sizeable Canadian operations separately from the Top 50 Canadian companies, with Direct Energy recognized and included on this list.
